“The Collector’s Sequence,” a three-part exhibit of things from the personal collections of three Little Rock ladies, debuts Tuesday at ESSE Purse Museum, 1510 Principal St., Little Rock.
Half 1, “So Shoe Me,” up via Nov. 20, focuses on the gathering of “wacky, wild, ‘redonkulous’ sneakers” belonging to Leesa Renshaw, head of lecturers at Pulaski Academy. Subsequent installments will spotlight the collections of Kathleen Pate and Marsha Stone.

The touring manufacturing of the Broadway musical “Come From Away” (ebook, music and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein) will likely be onstage, 7 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, 1:30 and seven p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and eight p.m. Saturday and a pair of p.m. Oct. 31 at Fayetteville’s Walton Arts Middle, 495 W. The present relies on the true story of the neighborhood of Gander, Newfoundland, Canada, which took in 7,000 stranded airline passengers after Sept. 11 briefly shut down air journey. The middle recommends the present for audiences 13 and older.
